Here we are in the year of the great Pandemic…almost 12 months have passed since my last update…it was on this day a year ago i was just beginning the photo tour of a lifetime in Prague, CZ…. the trip remains unsurpassed to this day… models, locations, accomodations, new acquaintances, smooth flights and logistics… all above and beyond what i’d imagined…
in the meantime, i promised to launch a new revised website with an e-comm component to help take care of these overheads …that attempt was a fail, as is often the case with a new site…the dnurv site remains unchanged for now, except for a couple of new galleries featuring the work from Europe…both a must see… nicidee & the algarve
plus..
i have a major backlog of unreleased images still waiting for a new home…please remain calm…soon come
i did manage to complete my first nude video, Drone Wedding….it’s a narrative telling the tale of a jilted and distressed bride who claws here way back to wholeness, using the healing, curative powers of nature…this video along with many still image screenshows from the Europe adventure will be up soon on a web platform near you…stay tuned for details…
with social distancing and travel restrictions in place, my creative plans for 2020 will likely be be held in check, or closer to home at least…do not fret, the dnurv journey is far from complete… stay close, stay safe, and thanks for your continued support over the years…

It’s been a while!!!
I have recently returned from my most ambitious tour in years… the trip stretched from Warsaw to Prague and then to beautiful Lisbon and the Algarve…i am happy to report that the adventure went smooth as silk, surpassing my wildest dreams in just about every respect… from the logistics, to the locations, including the accomodations…absolutely everything went without a hitch, perfect actually…
and the models, well that’s another story…they were out of this world…
from the amazing new Czech stars, nicidee and adela bednarova to Nikolart…the Prague models were a joy to get to know…
perhaps the best was left for last… five days of intense collaboration with the incredible Marisa Papen in Portugal…seen this week on the cover of Playboy USA’s Sexuality and Gender issue, she’s been making the news a lot lately…these sessions involved some pretty intense negotations revolving around how we would approach our work together, especially in the blistering Algarve sun, which was definitely a challenge for me…fortunately, we were able balance work with some chill down time, getting to know one another, and sharing views about the role of nudity and sexuality in our culture today…all next level
you will undoubtedly be the judge of the results…images will be appearing here over the next few months…you may have already noticed
this site is also is the process of a retrofit as we speak…you won’t be disappointed…
as well you will likely start to see more of my work on platforms like Patreon before the snow flies…stay tuned

Coming up on six years in business here at the dnurv brand…thx so much to you all for showing a brother your luv… a few changes are long overdue here…especially in terms of navigation fundamentals, a rejigging of the gfx and print order mechanics…stay tuned…
looking at roughly 150,000 site visits since September ’11 with about 4 million image views and lots of peeks at the web pages as well…so thx again…
special thx to danishpriciple.tumblr.com for the constant support…this blog is a top ten referrer to the site…amazing considering the other are search engines or smut aggregators…not that i have a problem with smut…

Firefox and Internet Explorer are the main OS’s being used with Apple Products boasting an amazing 90% of users with IPads Smartphones and other Apple devices leading the way by far…
The tablet and IPhone numbers are very reassuring… i do all of my photoprocessing using Apple hardware …as well i have often wondered how many large screen users have lost interest by the limited file sizes(generally under 300 kb)…i feel it’s necessary to keep these files relatively small for security reasons but don’t appear to be losing out as a result…
I am fairly happy with the site function and performance however admit that a “back button to the homepage” upgrade is long overdue… some minor tweaks and cosmetic changes are coming in the next few months as well…
i’d say the work is getting technically cleaner but perhaps needs a bit of refocusing… the object is to be passionate, positive and empowering while exploring contempory sexuality without relying on trite cliches and/or crass stereo-types… much depends on the collaborations that i manage to put together for these sessions… and i do have some exciting co-creators lined up to shoot over the next few months… fingers crossed
i should also take a moment to thank all those who have trusted me as a photographer during these creative interludes… most are complete strangers who go a long way to open up and engage in an intimate process that requires a very special temperment and adventuresome spirit to say the least… thank you all
